We know our fellow Floridians are strong and we will clean up and persevere!  Millennium Physician Group’s top priority is our team members safety, as the storm now clears please be sure to follow your local officials when it comes to an “all clear” in you area before driving on the roads, leaving your shelter, etc.

At this time we will be assessing our locations for power and damage specifically in the areas least affected.  We are looking at opening select facilities and will keep you posted as we are able to assess our locations that would be safe for our patients, staff, and providers.

Please reach out to your manager to confirm your safety or if you need anything during this time. We are all in this together!

Stay tuned for our next update at Monday, September 11 at 5:00 p.m.

We can safely say that we will be closed Tuesday. And please know, we’re not going to ask anyone to come back to work until we know it’s safe and you can comfortably get back to work. Our No. 1 priority remains keeping our team members safe. At this time, we can’t say when the offices will reopen again. We will assess after Hurricane Irma passes and it’s safe to visit the locations. We will communicate more throughout the week and keep you updated on the next steps.  Until you hear from our Incident Commander it is safe to return, please consider the offices are closed until further notice.   Keep checking back for more information throughout the storm.

    Sept. 10, 2017 – 9:30 a.m. ALERT

Hurricane Irma will be making landfall later today, Sept. 10, on Florida’s west coast.  We hope all of our team members are in a safe place, whether you evacuated to another area or are in a hurricane shelter.  Please stay safe!  Your Millennium EOC team will be monitoring the storm, working with our local County Emergency Operation Centers and keeping you up-to-date on the latest information.

Continue to check our Hurricane Information page, Hurricane Information Call Line (855-674-5463) and our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram sites for the LATEST information on Millennium.

Once the storm passes our community, we’ll begin our “After the Storm” communications from our team to all of our team members and patients.

Our thoughts are with everyone in Florida right now, especially with our Millennium family.

    Sept. 9, 2017 – 5:30 p.m. ALERT

At this time, we hope that all of our team members and patients have taken shelter in a secure location that is far from the expected storm surge for Southwest Florida.  If you are still in a mandatory evacuation zone, which are Zones A and B, please leave and find a shelter near you.   Please follow our state and local authorities instructions.  This is not the storm to ride out at home.

If you are a Millennium team member and struggling to find a hurricane shelter, please message your Manager right away. Our Millennium EOC will find a place for you. We are not going to leave team members without a safe place to shelter during this storm.

This will be our final update until tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m.  That’s when our Millennium EOC will meet again to prep our “After the Storm” communications and plans.    Please continue to check our social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) for any late announcements from Millennium tonight.

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Florida right now.   Please remain safe.

    Sept. 9, 2017 – 2 p.m. ALERT

Shelters Are Available for Southwest Florida Residents

Shelters are STILL open and available in Southwest Florida.  If you are in an evacuated zone or a known flood zone, leave now for one of the shelters below.  Bring your supplies (some are pet friendly so bring your animals) and please be safe.  Do not stay in a Zone under mandatory evacuation!

    Sept. 9, 2017 – 9:30 a.m. ALERT

    Take Action Now

With Hurricane Irma’s current track, it is critical that you make your plans now.  Remember, they say to run from water and hide from wind.  Make your plans now!    If you are in a mandatory evacuation zone, flood zone or an area identified as one with storm surge, please leave now.   It is not too late to leave and head north out of Hurricane Irma’s path.  We are hearing reports that the roads are moving and there is gas available for drivers.   If you cannot leave the area, please make plans to head to a shelter or a more secure location.  We want each of our team members to take this as seriously as possible.   Your safety is our No. 1 priority.  Follow the Governor’s instructions and leave now for a safer location.
