Sept. 29, 2011 – Millennium Physician Group will launch the “Go Pink” campaign on Monday, Oct. 3, the official start to Breast Cancer Awareness month.  Each Millennium office will participate in the campaign by wrapping their locations in pink---a tactic designed to catch the attention of local residents.  The campaign’s objective is to raise awareness of breast cancer and the need for annual mammograms. 

“Early detection is crucial in fighting and surviving cancer,” says Brandy Church, spokesperson for Millennium Physician Group. “We know that mammograms play a key role in detecting breast cancer early.”

Millennium Physician Group encourages women of all ages to schedule an appointment this October with their Primary Care Physician for a full health check-up and mammogram.  Millennium’s Women’s Imaging Center provides digital mammography and an on-site radiologist to provide instant results to each patient.
