A Happy, Healthy Thanksgiving
Many patients are asking, “What’s the safest way to celebrate Thanksgiving 2020?” Considering the steady increase in COVID-19 cases, the Centers for Disease Control has said the safest way to celebrate is to stay home. Traveling and spending prolonged amounts of time with others outside your usual household members increases the risk of being exposed.
When and How to Test
As cases continue to rise, so does demand for testing, which could put a strain on testing supplies. When you turn to Millennium for help with a suspected COVID-19 infection, you will be fully evaluated for symptoms and risk factors:
  • Have you had a known or suspected exposure to a person with COVID-19?
  • When were you potentially exposed and whether you have symptoms will determine whether testing is recommended, and if so, which test.
  • Were you and/or the people you came in contact with using masks, were you exposed for more than 15 minutes, and was social distance possible?
  • Please be aware that you could be advised to isolate or quarantine after you test.
Continued Precautions Urged
As a reminder, kindly continue to adhere to precautions to help minimize the chance of infection:
  • Mask wearing
  • Hand washing
  • Social distancing
~PLEASE, HELP US HELP YOU~
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
