Millennium Welcomes Two New Cardiologists

We are pleased to announce that Millennium continues to grow in the specialty department!  Join us in welcoming cardiologists  Robert Grohowski, M.D., and Brian Taschner, M.D.  Their knowledge of healthcare and years of experience is of great value to our organization.  Don’t forget to spread the news with your friends and family in the Fort Myers area. Robert M. Grohowski, M.D., FACC

Dr. Grohowski, cardiologist, graduated from the University of Michigan where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.  He also obtained his Doctor of Medicine and received the Hewlett-Packard Award, graduating top 5 in his class.

Dr. Grohowski worked on his cardiovascular diseases fellowship and interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical Center.  He has over 20 years of experience working with patients!

In his spare time, Dr. Grohowski enjoys traveling, golfing, skiing and theater.  He welcomes you to his location in Fort Myers, Florida!

Brian Craig Taschner, M.D.

Dr. Taschner, cardiologist, earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida.  He completed his internal medicine residency at the Medical College of Virginia and served as Chief Resident.  Dr. Taschner went on to complete his fellowship at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri and served as Chief Cardiology Fellow.

Dr. Taschner is a professional member of the Lee County Medical Society and the American Society of Echocardiography.  He is also a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.  Throughout his career, Dr. Taschner has received numerous honors and awards and has put in numerous volunteer hours.
