Phase 3 Reopening – Masks Still Required at Millennium Locations
Although Florida is now in Phase 3 Reopening, masks are still required at Millennium locations. We will continue taking proper precautions, including disinfecting, social distancing where possible, handwashing, and mask-wearing. Thank you for your understanding!

CDC Reverses Controversial Testing Guidance
Earlier this month, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reversed a controversial update it had made to its testing guidance back in August. The agency is now once again recommending the testing of asymptomatic patients who have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.

The importance of this change is significant because data seems to suggest that asymptomatic people may have as high as a 40-percent chance of spreading the virus, with the highest chance of spread likely attributed to those in the pre-symptomatic stage. However, the CDC remains firm that testing is no longer needed to clear a person with a confirmed infection.

The Added Importance of Flu Shots This Year
We say it every year, but now more than ever it is especially important to get the flu vaccine with the added challenge of differentiating between COVID-19 and typical seasonal respiratory illnesses, like influenza, bronchitis, pneumonia, and many others.
