Wesley Chapel Internal Medicine Physician Nelly Durr Chambers, MD, received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. She graduated with her Doctor of Medicine degree from Cornell University School of Medicine in New York, NY, and completed her internal medicine residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY.

Her clinical interests include preventative health, women’s health, diabetes, hypertension, anxiety and depression. Dr. Durr Chambers is fluent in English and Arabic and conversant in Spanish and French.

When Dr. Durr Chambers is not practicing medicine, she is often spending time with her family and discovering new places and cultures through traveling. Dr. Durr Chambers has also completed a dozen half marathons and triathlons and her goal is to compete is the New York City marathon and half Iron Man.
