    Dr. Torricelli comes from a family of physicians, with his father graduating from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1953. His passion for life extension, health, and wellness began in the early 1970s. As a former college high jumper and runner, Dr. Torricelli has long been an advocate for exercise and healthy living.

    Since relocating to Fort Myers in 1991, he has cared for generations of families in Lee County. Board-certified in Internal Medicine since 1989, he remains committed to staying current in his field. Dr. Torricelli was also an early member of the National Lipid Association and frequently lectures on a variety of medical topics.

    In addition to his medical practice, he has authored six books, three of which focus on diet and wellness, including one published in 2025. Dr. Torricelli and his wife, Judi, have lived in Lee County since 1991. They have a daughter, Jessica, who is currently a morning television anchor in Monroe, Louisiana.
